David Yun
David Yun is a corporate lawyer who has been based in Hong Kong since 1994. David has represented major corporations, investment banks and private equity firms in a wide variety of corporate matters including public takeover, M&A, private equity, corporate finance and joint venture transactions. Whilst David specialises in the area of Hong Kong and regional M&A (for both public and private work), David also advises on corporate finance, regulatory and compliance, corporate governance, pre-IPO restructuring and investment, convertibles and structured products, corporate and debt restructuring, debt financing, stamp duty and employment matters as part of his full service corporate practice. David’s in-depth knowledge of financial and accounting matters are invaluable to his extensive corporate practice. In addition to regularly speaking at professional education courses, David authored a chapter for two Practitioner’s Guide to the Hong Kong Takeovers Code, and served as the consulting editor for one of those guides, as well as the Hong Kong chapter for Practical Law: Shareholders’ Rights Global Guide by Thomson Reuters.
