The notary pro ession is a survival of a civil law notion in the corporate law.  It was said that Notaries Public might be regarded as the third arm of a legal profession, alongside solicitors and barristers.  The activity of Notaries Public is unique.  The responsibility is to the transaction itself.  They assure legal certainty and truth which are essential to society.

It was said “A Notary should ask what value he is adding to the document and whether he is fulfilling his duties as a Notary……”

In this seminar, the speaker will illustrate with real life experience so as to demonstrate the social and economic values of Hong Kong Notarial Services.

The speaker will address the remote online notarisation and the notarial services during Covid-19.
